Dr. Charilaos Tsichouridis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Science and Theoretical Sciences and their didactics, in the Department of Educational Sciences and Social Work of the University of Patras (former Pedagogical department of primary education- Law 4610/2019) with the subject of “Sciences and their Teaching » (Government Gazette 778 / vol. C ‘2-4-2021).

His research interests focus on the field of Physics and Sciences and their Teaching in formal education and in Special-Inclusive Education, with an emphasis on the creation, use and evaluation of modern models and environments of experimental practice (real, virtual and augmented reality) in learning, as basic tools in science teaching. Another major area of his research interests, related to effective science teaching, is the focus on game-based learning, machine learning, and interdisciplinary STEM approaches, areas that reinforce his interest in educational research in general but also in scientific research.
