Andreas Vassilopoulos graduated from the Dept. of Primary Education, University of Patras, in 1996. He did his postgraduate studies in Education (M.Ed.) in Great Britain, at the Graduate School of Education of the University of Bristol (1997-1998). and delivered his PhD thesis at the University of Patras (1999-2004).
His research interests focus on (European) education policies and their impact on Greek (Higher) Education. He mainly focuses on issues related to the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) -internationalisation, mobility and quality assurance.
Alone or in collaboration with others, he has participated in writing books, journal articles and conference papers focusing on issues related to his research interests, as presented above.
